letter from the principal

We miss seeing each and every one of you and want you to know that we are still here, ready to provide support in whatever way we can. Teachers have been reaching out to you and your students since the school closure first began. If you have not heard from them, contact our main office at 360-428-6199 to have your telephone number and email address updated in Skyward.

We are committed to providing learning opportunities for your children. If you or someone you know does not have the technology to access these lessons, please let us know. We are at the school every day from 9am-Noon. Meals are also being provided between 10am-Noon daily.

It is especially important during these troubling times to look for the positives. Our children will remember the messages we send with our behavior and attitudes. Right now, they are looking to us to provide stability and a sense of normalcy. I encourage you to look for ways you can be a part of the solution, to come together as a family and community to help stop the spread of this virus and to make the best of a difficult situation.

Stay connected to the school and establish a routine that works for your family. Do the work that teachers are presenting and ask questions if you do not understand. Spend time talking, playing games, reading, creating, exercising, and learning new things together. Remind each other that we will all get through this and come out stronger as a result.

Imagine if we really did embrace the Rowley vision of a community who CARES (Create-Adapt-Respect-Encourage-Serve). That would be a wonderful place to be and I believe now is the time!

Stay well!
