If weather conditions are making roads hazardous, student transportation & the school day schedule may be impacted. A two hour Delayed Start (10:30am) or school cancellations are announced on local radio & television stations as well as the district’s automated robo-phone calls.

Come and join our Folklore Dance group every Thursday from 6:30-7:30pm in the gym at Lincoln. 

With the reconstruction and opening of Madison School in September 2019, and the closing of Lincoln School as an elementary school at that same time, the Mount Vernon School District has been developing new attendance area boundaries which will go into effect for next school year. These boundaries determine which school students will attend based upon home address. Options for new boundaries have continued to be developed. We are scheduling meetings in March to share these updated options and collect parent input.
